Happy 21st Jonathan!!!!!!!

MY LIL BRO JONATHAN IS TURNING 21!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!! CRAZINESS! SO WE HAD A LITTLE FIREWORKS CELEBRATION BEFORE HE HAD TO LEAVE TO GO BACK TO NORFOLK, VA FOR THE MARINES.

Sage was all about attention from anyone who would comfort him and save him from the loud noises...so jonathans girlfriend Lindz held him for a bit

Sage was scared of the fireworks so he ran and hid in my moms lap

Happy 4th!!!!!

Yay, so today is Dru and I's 3rd Anniversary...and the 4th....love fireworks!!!!!!!! So, to catch up...last weekend we had a baby shower for my friend Kristy (waiting for someone to post the pics)...and the weekend before, my bro came home from Cuba!!! So good to have him back...he came in town for the 4th...so I am hoping to see him soon! He spends most of his time with his girlfriend now...but thats a 20 yr old for you!!! Tomorrow we are having a cookout at my moms for him, so that will be fun...2 weeks and he will be 21! I cant believe it. Not sure if he can come home yet or not, we will see. 

So, its raining today and I hope the fireworks are not cancelled :( We will see!!! As for now, im going to rest...yesterday I spent my whole day off re doing my back patio....I have to say it looks amazing, but not im extremely sore. Thank goodness my mom helped!!! Here is what went into it...and I will upload pics as soon as my camera charges!

Thursday night I powerwashed the fence and the concrete patio 6pm-8pm

Friday morning I woke up and went to get all of my supplies 8am-10am

Friday mid morning my mom arrived and we primed and painted the fence 10am-145pm

Friday afternoon I started to get light-headed and realized I forgot to get anything to eat all day!!!145pm-215pm

I finished helping Phil, our neighbor put my ghetto gate back together...he is so nice and helpful...worked on that all morning while we painted! 215-245

Mom and I then swept and stained the patio 245-330

Phil offered to allow us to go with him and put all the landscape rock i wanted in his truck....so mom and I shoveled 1100 lbs of rock!!!!!!!!!!330-415

We then came back and shoveled it out of the truck and into my patio area 415-515

We carried back the stepping stones and edgers and placed them nicely in place 515-530

Then we painted the steps and cleaned up 530-6

exhausting!!!!!! we never stopped moving...so im pretty sore today. But its so much better now! yay!!!!!

And Summer Begins...

Summertime is always fun, busy, crazy to say the least. This weekend was my friend Stephanie's( in the middle) bridal shower! I cant believe she's getting married!!! so exciting though! Then, after the shower I headed up to Dru's grandparent's house for a little get together birthday party. That took up our whole Saturday, since it was a 2 hour drive each way, but it was fun. We came back and had a few drinks at our usual hangout, Roca Bar, then headed home. Today, I am pretty much doing nothing, and it's GREAT!!!!! The next month something is planned every single weekend!! so I will finally have something to write about hahaha...maybe I can somewhat keep up with my good friend Jen's life!!!

I'M LOVIN IT

Ok so first, I am loving my McDonalds Coke...If you are a regular coke drinker, then you know what I am talking about. Their coke is unlike any other...by far my fav! Yummy breakfast lol...so I know it is horrible for me, heck it can eat battery acid off a car battery, but its so addicting. I am slowly weaning myself away...I am down to 1-2 a day usually. Much better than 7-8! eek!

Ok, so the other thing I am lovin right now is twitter, facebook, myspace, and blogging. I am ADD...I cant sit on one for too long...I just like to jump around and leave new messages randomly on them all. I know, I am a dork :) 

That's all for this morning, time to go put away the new clothes I bought!

Meet Sage!

So, I don't have any kids to brag about like my friends, but I do have my lil Shih Tzu Sage! He might as well be a child because he thinks he is human.  Here are a few fun tidbits so you can get to know him:

1. He is addicted to McDonalds french fries

2. If he thinks you are mad at him, he will pretend he is going to puke so that you hug him and tell him its ok.

3. He can never been cuddled close enough.

4. When you come home he shakes with excitement until you lay on the floor and let him jump up on you and give you hugs and kisses.

5. His best friend is my mom's dog Toby...but please dont say that name around him unless we are going to see him in the next 5 minutes!

6. He knows how to sit, shake, give high fives, lay down, and stand pretty...most the time he will do them all in a row really fast so he can get a treat faster....he is still scared to roll over

7. He knocks at the door if he wants to go out of in...he particularly likes to knock on my moms old neighbor ladys door...run into her kitchen...grab a treat...and run back out. haha

8. he likes his hair hanging over his eyes, i will pull it back and he will spend all day trying to get it back in his face...hes a jamaican dog with his dreads :)

9. He doesn't need a leash, he follows us everywhere without one...unless someone shows up with mcdonalds fries...hold him back!

10.  He is scared of shadows and things in the night, such as bushes,trees, and snowmen...i think this is because Dru used to try to scare him at night when he came home from work...how mean!

Happy Mother's Day MOMs! I got my mom a new charm for her Pandora bracelet...its a butterfly with my birthstone colored gems on its wings. My brother ordered flowers online in Cuba and sent them to her, how sweet. Hope you mom's have a good day today, you deserve it!
